Office renovation for the leading brokerage in New York City: NestSeekers.
This project is especially close to our heart! Interesting to collaborate with industry professionals who are experts at a different side of the real estate industry in Manhattan and Brooklyn. It was a fun collaboration with NestSeekers who needed to freshen up their Riverside location in the Upper West side. The Chapter team’s work consisted in not only designing a beautiful work environment but also improving the space distribution to make it welcoming for both brokers and clients.
The customized front desk built by the Chapter team along with the back wall were covered in Nero Marquina marble tiles elegantly combined to a rich brass company logo achieving an urban luxury feel. This constant play between precious materials was achieved throughout the space where one can find brass legs on all working desks and a reminder of the beautiful marble stone on the made-to-measure bar to entertain clients.
High-end carpets and recessed lights with dimmers were installed throughout the rooms so the atmosphere could always be spot-on. The space distribution was especially important. One of the primary goals was to create an environment exclusively dedicated to brokers with a conference room and desks while delivering a modern entertainment area to host clients including a sitting area and a bar section with a separate entrance to host networking events or informal drinks with clients. To achieve this dual space without obstructing the flow of the rooms, glass sliding doors and floor to ceiling wood dividers became an obvious choice. Glass is a fantastic material to design bright and modern spaces while wood added a more solid yet airy feeling to the space layout.
The entertainment area needed to feel more like a trendy NYC lounge. The back wall of the bar area was therefore covered with ancient mirrors and matched with valiant black antique ceramic tiles. The Chapter team custom built millwork cabinets to store glasses and drinks while revamping the kitchenette and bathroom.
