Shore Crest Miami Home Renovation
NE 82nd St, Miami, FL:Charming meets quaint…
The Chapter team had a long to-do list to bring this 1940’s house up to code. From updating all plumbing and electrical panels to making this home hurricane safe with new reinforced windows. The house was therefore demolished to its bones in order to inspect and rebuild it towards its full potential. The new owners were very keen on incorporating an indoor/outdoor feel within the house benefiting from the unique Miami weather and the large backyard.
The light being so special down south, it quickly became chapter’s interior designer’s main inspiration. To celebrate it in the best way possible, an open floor concept was chosen to enhance the 1,600 sqft living area complemented by large windows installed around the house allowing for the lush garden and abundant light to come in. Hosting regularly and with an expanding family, the new owners wanted a kitchen area that would be welcoming and located equally close to the living room as to the backyard.
The spacious master bedroom faces the peaceful greenery of the palm trees and includes an en-suite bathroom with a deep modern soaking tub, a walk-in shower and double sinks. Completely remodeled, the aim was to create a calm retreat with a natural color palette and large tiles celebrating the minimalist aesthetic.
For the second and third bedrooms, the chapter team focused on maintaining the spacious layout of the rooms while building ample closet space adding significant value to this home. Conveniently located between the secondary bedrooms, the second bathroom also includes a tub with rainfall shower. The chapter team is so happy to have helped creating another perfect home in a sprawling and young neighborhood of Miami Shores.
