This remarkable townhouse located in the heart of the Upper East Side was a very interesting project for the Chapter team. For this renovation, our clients wanted to find the perfect balance between maintaining the classic details of the house while marrying them elegantly to contemporary finishes aiming to create a little piece of paradise for themselves. Originally built in 1901, the Chapter team worked on the seven levels which include six stories plus a finished basement, totaling approximately 7,400 square feet. Our focus turned toward preserving the original plaster, moldings and millwork found throughout the house.
